Ending a Chapter
So in honesty, I’m not sure how I felt about graduating from high school. It’s definitely what I consider bittersweet. I’m really glad to have finished school this year so I can enjoy summer, and it feels nice to be out of high school ( in the simplest sense.) Probably the biggest reason why I’m glad to be out of high school is that I don’t know what to expect from college and being on my own. I think any kid would be excited to have a little freedom from the parents. But we also like being taken care of. Like who’s going to make warm food for me when I’m sick? Who’s going to push me to go to school on the days I don’t feel like it. Who’s going to scold me when I do something wrong. Not to be corny, but graduation doesn’t only mean getting your diploma. It also means starting a new lifestyle even if the only difference is taking a train to the college campus because you commute instead of living there.
I thought I would be fine and itd be exciting going out of state for school but it just hit me how much I’ll miss my family ): I’m not assuming that my parents will die soon or anything but they are aging and time does pass when I have my own life to run now and it won’t be like old times when I get to see them 24/7. My dad said that high school is the best years of a kids life. It definitely was for me. I just hope that later after I’m gone that my parents won’t regret and think twice about the person I was and who I’m going to turn out to be. So class of 2012, make yo parents proud! And be good to them (:
senior graduation
so i’m graduation tmrrw! going to be officially done with high school. and for my grad present, my dad got me the iphoneeeee and a canon camera, i got my top braces off, and my friend’s mom (who owns the dentistry) gave me a free pack of the Venus Whitening Ultra thing.. <33 okay hush to you 328932983 ppl who already have iphones lol. i’m still pretty excited to have one. but YES! READY FOR COLLEGE

today was a good day of work! tiring but productive. it was so busy today. we had a waiting list for both tables, patio, and sushi bar of 1 hour. favorite part of my job, is carrying the drinks from the bar to the guests just cuz i’m 18 and i can (; (and i can talk to the cute bartenders lollll jk…). anyways. 6.5 hours of working yesterday + 5.5 hours today = FAT PAYCHECK. and 2 ppl got fired.. which kind of scares me but is also a wake up call to get my stuff together. after 5 hours of standing without any dinner, i am now watching t.v. with mcdonald fries. hhheeeheee

ap tests got moved.
my bio exam and a bunch of other tests got moved may 25th… WHYWHYWHYWHYWHY. now i have to go back to school after graduation and take a freaking test … everyone’s so pissed at this kid right now. omgomgomg,.ddf he just ruinned the testing system completely. not only is the test moved back but now they’re harder.. because the grading scale/curve we get isn’t with the whole country, its just within our school now.. dlkfjalks. oh well. I could say we can forgive but seriously.. this is going to be hard and im seriously considering just getting a refund for the bio test..
